Wouldn't connect so sent it back.

Often loses signal and fails to recover without a hard reset. I use two Ring branded batteries and it usually fails to pick up at least one of them. For some reason it feels the need to notify me on the rare occasion it picks up that it is connected to the Ring solar panel. Picture quality is decent and so is the spotlight but it just isn't reliable.

Hugely disappointed by the subscription fee percentage increase. Once bitten, twice shy.

Good camera

Bought and installed and worked fine for a day. Then we had some heavy wind and rain. After a few hours it stopped working. Took it down to check it and water just ran out of the back where the usb-c plugs in. Any water running down the back of the unit is just going to get in at this connection point. Mine points down slightly, which makes it work. Tried drying it out but it was dead. Contacted Ring who were excellent and sent me out a replacement. Unfortunately it was like-for-like only. I've a location under a gazebo where it won't get wet, so that's okay. I've since bought a properly fully wired version to go where this one was meant to go.

After my Ring Spot Light camera stopped working, on opening I discovered that it was full of water despite having been correctly fitted in a relatively sheltered position above our back door. I have since found various customer compliant relating to camera failed due to water ingress. So I am now looking for a properly Waterproof camera from an alternative supplier.

Love this camera has lights and alarm so if anyone who's in garden is there it lights up and siren goes off

Excellent quality all round

Great and easy to assemble, amazing quality, love the light and siren feature

Initially this was a great product: easy to install and set up. Quality of the picture was also great! Battery life is also decent however theatric function of it might be the reason why. It’s a sensitive and unreliable camera: works consistently for a few days and then goes offline. Curiously, it’s also affected by the weather- this cameras goes offline at the slightest change on temperature or the rain. Mine is situated on a porch so I can’t imagine how it fares outside in the big bad weather. Trouble shooting supporting isn’t particular helpful; nor is customer service- I’ve contacted Ring several times and they are wholly uninterested. Essentially I’ve got a 3 month old camera that has worked for 4 weeks in total. Not worth the time, money, or effort.
