Samsung Flip Stand Hellgrau

This stand ships with the front legs "folded" against the back legs. The customer "opens" the stand as part of the assembly process before mounting the display. Unfortunately, the joint that allows this folding action is only sturdy in the upright position. In some other orientations, these joints are not strong enough to support the (counter-weighted) back legs. I was moving this stand from one room to another and while I had it on its side, the leverage of the legs ripped both joints apart. That's right, once it has been assembled, the product will literally self-destruct if you put it on its side. The warning sheet does not warn about keeping the stand vertical at all times. I have owned many Samsung devices for years and regarded them as extremely solid and well-made. It's quite astonishing how flimsy this design is, especially for the premium price.

Ich habe für meinen Arbeitgeber das Samsung Flip 2 zusammen mit diesem Standfuß erworben. Er ist definitiv der neuere und bessere Standfuß und sehr zu empfehlen, wenn es auch um den Transport durch enge Türen oder in Fahrstühlen geht! Der alte Standfuß machte da erhebliche Probleme! Montage ----------- Das Auspacken und Aufbauen des Standfußes war kein Problem, denn die bebilderte Anleitung war ordentlich gemacht. Außerdem gibt es auf Youtube von Samsung ein Video, dass die Montage noch besser erklärt! Sehr zu empfehlen! Der Standfuß ist sehr schwer und sollte mit mindestens 2 Personen aufgebaut werden. Die Montage des Bildschirms geht am besten mit 3 Personen, weil 2 den schweren Bildschirm halten müssen und der Dritte das richtige Einrasten des Bildschirms am Standfuß beobachten und einweisen muss. Verarbeitung/Material --------------------------- Die hinteren Standbeine haben eine Querstange, die ein erhebliches Gewicht hat. Sie sorgt für einen guten und stabilen Stand. Am oberen Ende werden die Standbeine an einem dünnen Blech gehalten. Dieses hat sich durch ein ungewolltes zusammendrücken der Standbeine schon verbogen. Außerdem sind in der Spitze der Standbeine kleine Kunststoffstücke, die das Zusammendrücken der Standbeine wie eine Sicherung verhindern sollen, aber vom Material eigentlich zu empfindlich sind. Für einen Standfuß in der Preisklasse erwarte ich hier einfach mehr Qualität und Stabilität!

Beim Schreiben Oder moderieren Sind die Füße nicht im Weg. In 10 Minuten montiert Flip rauf und fertig.

The wheels in the box were broken. I also couldn't get it to turn on the stand. It looks like the wheels are very poorly made, which is sad for such an expensive stand.

This stand would be nice if it was useful. But it only works with the Samsung Flip 2. And that's unfortunate, because the Samsung Flip 2 doesn't support collaboration, contrary to the misleading product description. You are better off buying a Vibe Smartboard (vibe.us) or use any touchscreen with a small Windows or Linux computer.
